As a professional marriage proposal and event planning company in the Mexican Caribbean, with over 5 years of experience operating in Cancun since April 2021, we strive to provide the highest quality service to all our clients. We want to ensure you are aware of all our policies and processes before entering into any agreement with our company. Please carefully review the following statement:
Services Offered:
Proposal Cancun offers marriage proposal and event planning and coordination services, including:
Venue selection in the Riviera Maya.
Vendor recommendations and coordination.
Proposal development and planning.
Event day coordination.
Decor and styling.
Pricing:
Our pricing for marriage proposal planning services varies depending on the scope of your event and your specific needs. We will provide you with a detailed quote outlining our services and pricing before beginning any work. Please submit this quote for your approval via our official WhatsApp channel: +52 998 345 2115.
Payment:
A 50% deposit is required to secure your proposal date. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your total balance. The remaining 50% must be paid 2 to 3 days prior to the proposal if paying via a payment app or branch. Otherwise, payment is due on the day of the proposal, in cash only, before the event begins. No exceptions. (Accepted currencies: MXN, USD, and EUR). If you require a digital payment receipt and/or invoice, please notify us before making the initial payment.
Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your proposal planning services with Proposal Cancun, please inform us as soon as possible so we can notify all involved vendors. Any cancellation made less than three weeks prior to your proposal date will result in the forfeiture of your initial deposit. Any additional payments, such as permits, venue rentals, vendor deposits (including musicians, professional photography/videography), or any other costs incurred by Proposal Cancun for your event, are also non-refundable. Please note that our priority is to hold your event on the date and time that is most convenient for everyone involved. Therefore, you will be allowed to change the event date without penalty due to weather conditions, provided that the availability of all agreed-upon services is confirmed.
Liability:
Proposal Cancun is not responsible for any damage, injury, or external events that may occur during your proposal or related event. For the safety of our staff and clients, we do not operate in public areas or on public beaches. We only work with hotel chains and private venues that have the necessary permits in the state of Quintana Roo. It is important that the client follows the specific processes and instructions provided by the Proposal Cancun team.
Confidentiality:
We understand that some events can be private and sensitive. We will maintain confidentiality and respect your privacy throughout our working relationship; you only need to let us know before your event. By contracting our services, you agree to this disclosure statement, acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms described, and agree to comply with all Proposal Cancun policies and practices.
Terms and conditions
Acknowledgement:
These are the Terms and Conditions that govern your use of this service and the agreement between you and Proposalcancun®, which establish the rights and obligations of all users with respect to the use of the service. Your access to and use of the service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users and others who access or use the service. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information when you use the App or Website and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. Please read our Terms and Privacy Policy carefully before contracting any of our services.
If you do not agree with any part of our Terms and Conditions, then you may not obtain a service from Proposal Cancun.
Payment:
The client agrees to pay Proposal Cancun the total amount previously discussed for the proposal services provided at the event. Payment must be made in full at least one day before the event or on the day of the event, as stipulated above. In case of any payment delay, the client must cover the outstanding balance using another method to ensure the full amount is paid. Any remaining balance will be refunded via PayPal.
Photo Editing and Changes:
Edited photos will be delivered within five days of the event and upon receipt of full payment. If additional editing time is required, the client will be notified. The client agrees not to alter or make changes to the edited photographs delivered by the photographer. Proposal Cancun reserves the right to make creative decisions during the editing process, and the final edited images delivered to the client will be considered satisfactory. (No original or raw photos or videos will be provided.)
Photo Delivery:
The edited photos will be delivered to the client via a link that will be active for 30 days. It is the client’s responsibility to download the photos within this timeframe, as the link will expire after 30 days and may no longer be accessible. The photographer will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred due to the client’s failure to download the photos within the stipulated timeframe. Therefore, it is recommended that the client download and store the photos in a secure location immediately upon receiving the link. By accepting these terms, the client acknowledges and agrees to assume full responsibility for downloading and safeguarding the edited photographs.
Social Media Use Approval:
The Client grants Proposal Cancun permission to publish, share, and use the photographs or videos taken at the event on social media for promotional purposes and content creation, unless the Client specifies otherwise in advance and provides written notification.
Copyright and Ownership:
All photographs taken by Proposal Cancun will be the property of Proposal Cancun, which retains the copyright and ownership of the images. The client or individual may not sell, publish, or use the photographs for commercial purposes without the written consent of Proposal Cancun.
Liability:
Proposal Cancun will not be liable for any damage, injury, or loss of personal belongings incurred during the event. The client assumes full responsibility for the safety and conduct of all persons present at the event.
Termination:
Either party may terminate this Working Agreement in writing if there is a breach of any of the terms established herein. In the event of termination, Proposal Cancun will be compensated for services rendered up to the date of termination.
Applicable Law:
By doing business with Proposal Cancun, you agree to these terms and conditions, and the agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Quintana Roo, where the event takes place.
Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. We use your personal data to operate and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this policy. Data Collection: We collect the information you provide (for example, contact forms) and basic technical data to keep the site secure and functional. We do not share your personal information except as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law.
